Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction (QCF)

This qualification provides the knowledge and skills to enable learners to plan, deliver and evaluate safe and effective gym or studio sessions. This qualification will provide entry onto the Register of Exercise Professionals at Level 2 and can be achieved in the context of gym or exercise to music.

Next course start date: 16th July - 27th July 

Cost: £650

Qualifications needed: This qualification is open to all

Some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights, or experience of studio-based exercise classes is highly recommended

Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (QCF)

This qualification gives learners the knowledge and skills to work with individual and groups of client in a personal training setting. Successful achievement of the qualification will allow the learner to gain employment within an organisational setting, or alternatively in a self-employed environment.

It also provides access onto The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 3.

Course: Level 2 Certificate in Exercise to Music

Course start date: TBC

This qualification is open to learners that have completed the Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing.

Some experience of studio-based exercise classes is highly recommended

Qualifications needed: A suitable Level 2 qualification in Gym Instructing

The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) and application of number involved, and learners should have basic skills in communication and application of number pitched at levels 3 and 2 respectively.

Cricket Coaching

Start your coaching career with a Level Two Certificate in Coaching Children Cricket. Coaching children is a challenging and enormously rewarding role within the coaching pathway. 

Players need expertise, support and passion at every level of their development; this course is designed with your players’ needs at its core. 

The cost of the course is £300 per person.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must be at least 17 years at the start of the course and 18 years on the date of assessment and attend every day of the course, complete home-study online e-module tasks in between modules and six sessions of supported practice in your own club coaching environment.
